Weapon charges against Vergas man filed [UPDATED]

Kyle William Diederich, 46, of Vergas, was charged Jan. 25, with second degree assault with a dangerous weapon.

Diederich was charged Jan. 28, with domestic assault during a altercation in a home. It was also reported that he pointed a shotgun at the victim during the incident.

By the time Otter Tail County sheriff’s deputies arrived, Diederich had left the home.

A witness, who was in a bedroom, reported hearing arguing in the living room or kitchen and what sounded like a body being thrown against a wall.

The witness also reported seeing Dieterich holding a 12-gauge shotgun and pointing it at the victim. — Daily Journal
