Business as usual at OTC Humane Society [UPDATED]

The Humane Society of Otter Tail County announced Monday that it is accepting strays and surrenders as usual.

Sunday’s Daily Journal reported that due to an abundance of dogs and puppies, and a problem with the heating system, the faciliities surrender capabilities were being curtailed.

“The issues have been fixed and we are open for business as usual,” said Justin Rovang, secretary of the board of directors at HSOTC. “Come fall in love with an adoptable pet today.”

The shelter is also seeking donatons of blankets, cat and dog food and cat litter to support the animals it cares for each day in our community.

The shelter is located at 1933 W. Fir Ave in Fergus Falls, shelter hours are: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
