FF man charged with domestic assault [UPDATED]

A Fergus Falls man was charged last week for allegedly strangulating his girlfriend.

Julius Lamon Bailey, 43, of Fergus Falls was charged Jan. 28, in Otter Tail County District Court with domestic assault by strangulation and interfering with an emergency call.

Bailey allegedly threatened and attempted to strangle his girlfriend following an argument, according to Otter Tail County court records.

    For her sake, I hope she gets a restraining order against him, gets a permit to buy a gun, and gets training gun training as soon as she buys the gun. She needs to never again talk to him even by phone or email or any other way. Once someone tries to kill a girlfriend/ boyfriend, that person will never be safe around that person again. Too many women lose their lives every year after giving the abusive man one too many chances to change.
