Abbot Aho records 175th win on Otter Senior Night
Published 10:54am Wednesday, February 6, 2013The Otters took to their home mat for Senior Night Tuesday, facing off against the Willmar Cardinals. Despite falling 57-13, the night saw one senior hit a milestone.
Abbot Aho, Tyler Giza, Walker Heinen and Tommy Weaver were recognized at the beginning of the night for each wrestlers’ leadership during their years in the Fergus Falls program.
Aho had another reason to celebrate by the end of the evening. With his victory by major decision over Willmar’s Zach Lueders, Aho hit the 175 win milestone for his career.
At the 125 division, Giza made the best of his Senior Night match by taking a close 9-3 decision.
The Otters travel Thursday to face off against the Perham Yellowjackets. The dual is set to begin at 6:15.
