Battlers squash Tigers 72-28

ROTHSAY — The Battle Lake boys were able to bounce back after a recent loss to claim a 72-28 Little Eight Conference victory over the Rothsay Tigers Tuesday.

Tyler Ukkelberg led the scoring attack for Battle Lake with 20 points, while Dan Marso (13) and Petric VanErp (12) were also in double digits in the win.

The Battlers will be back in action Tuesday as they host Parkers Prairie in another LEC showdown at 7:30 p.m., while the Tigers will look to end a nine-game skid Friday against Brandon-Evansville in a 7:30 p.m. home LEC battle.
