Panthers pounce on Battlers, win 67-40

PARKERS PRAIRIE — The No. 3 (Class A) Panther girls were able to make quick work of their Little Eight Conference foe Battle Lake as they picked up their 18th consecutive victory 67-40.

Katie Rilla recorded a double-double for the Battlers with 12 points and 10 boards, while teammate Emily Marso led the visiting Battle Lake team in scoring with 13 marks.

The Battlers will look to rebound from the loss as they host the Ashby Arrows in a 7:30 p.m. LEC showdown.
