COON RAPIDS — Boomer Blossom didn’t let pressure phase him as he pulled up for a jumper with 1.4 seconds left. When the bucket dropped in, the M State men celebrated a 68-66 win over Anoka-Ramsey Wednesday.

The Golden Rams were able to control most of the first half, but saw M State’s Shane Bosek hit a go-a-head three pointer before the end of the half to give the Spartans a 32-29 lead.

The Spartans held on to that three point lead late in the game, until the Golden Rams’ Joe Lyons hit a three pointer with 10 seconds to play. M State used their last possession to setup a game winning shot by Blossom.

Blossom finished with 14 points, while Bosek (19) and Luke Halbakken (14) were also in double figures.

M State struggled from the field on the evening making only 38 percent of their shots.

The Spartans will be back at home Saturday as they host Western Wisconsin Tech in a 3 p.m. match up.
