Someone stole a purse from a parked car Wednesday evening at 529 West Cavour St.

Nancy Walvatne reported she parked her vehicle on the road and thought she locked it as she went into a residence to get her dog. When she came back out, she saw some one in a dark hooded sweatshirt running north across Cavour St.

She noticed that her purse was taken from her vehicle.

Her purse contained her drivers license, three debit cards, three check books, three credit cards and about $60 in cash.

One of her debit cards were found nearby and returned.

The suspect is believed to be a male in his late teens or early 20s.
