Spartan Women fall in 2nd half

COON RAPIDS — The M State women’s team saw Anoka-Ramsey use a strong second half to pick up a 67-53 win over the visiting Spartans Wednesday.

After trailing 29-28 coming into the second half, M State saw their host turn up the tempo to coast to a 14 point victory.

The Spartans saw Rhoda Christenson (15 points, 10 rebounds) and Donna Ripplinger (10 points, 11 rebounds) each record a double-double in the game.

Maria Johnson was also in double digits in scoring with 12 tallies for M State.

The Spartans will host Western Wisconsin Tech Saturday at 1 p.m.
