City leaders have decided against offering a 36-foot-wide street option in a street improvement plan on the southwest side of Perham.affair

Residents may still voice their opinions on whether the city should keep streets in the improvement area at the present 50-foot width or narrow the streets to 44 feet.

The city would realize a $43,000 cost savings to pare the streets to a narrower width and save more trees, according to the Perham Focus.
