Thanks to Sertoma Derby participants, volunteers, donors [UPDATED]

Thank you to everyone who attended the Fergus Falls Sertoma Club’s 34th annual fishing derby on Sunday, Feb. 3 on Pebble Lake, those who purchased raffle tickets prior to the derby, and the numerous business owners who donated cash and prizes for the raffles.uneasy

We would like to especially thank the West Otter Tail Chapter of the Minnesota Darkhouse and Angling Association for drilling holes for this year’s derby, and the Darkhouse and Angling Association and Fergus Falls Fish and Game Club for contributing prizes for the popular kids’ raffle.

The Sertoma Club raised a net of about $12,000 from this year’s derby. The club board will donate those funds throughout the year, with an emphasis on helping those with speech and hearing impairments.

Again, thanks to all who contributed to this important cause.
