Dinner, movie or show, this weekend offers a chance to get out of the house and to shake the winter blues. The Fergus Falls Area YMCA offers parents night out on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m.

With the Fury Dance Show on Friday or Flying Foot Forum part of the ACFTA Center Series on Saturday both are sure to provide a evening of entertainment.

 

Friday

• Paramedic Refresher Class, all day at Ringdahl Ambulance Garage

• J. Charles Cox and Lori Charest exhibit, all day at the Kaddatz Galleries

• CLC Nordic Ski conference meet, all day at Spidahl’s Ski Resort

• Exhibit Reopening: The State Welcomes You: Minnesota’s Third State Hospital, Fergus Falls, 4 to 7 p.m. at OTCHS

• YMCA Parents Night Out, 6 to 9 p.m. at YMCA

• Special Program: Dr. William Patterson: The Man and the Legend, 6 to 6:30 p.m. at the OTCHS

• EDGE spaghetti dinner, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Fergus Falls EDGE Dance Studio

• Fury Dance Show, 7 to 9 p.m. at Kennedy Secondary School

 

Saturday

• Paramedic Refresher Class, all day at Ringdahl Ambulance Garage

• J. Charles Cox and Lori Charest exhibit, all day at the Kaddatz Galleries

• Pride Ride, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Rothsay Truck and Trailer

• National Take Your Child to the Library Day, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Library

• Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby, 10 to 11 a.m. at the WestRidge Mall

• Flying Foot Forum (Center Series), 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at ACFTA

 

Sunday

• Paramedic Refresher Class, all day at Ringdahl Ambulance Garage

• Sweetheart Breakfast, 8 to 11:30 a.m. at the Elizabeth Community Center

• “The Orange Girl” film with English subtitles, 3 to 5 p.m. at the Royal Auditorium at the Battle Lake School

• Otter Tail Nordic Ski Association Meatball Supper, 5 to 7 p.m. at First Lutheran Church Fergus Falls

• Free Public Skating, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Fergus Falls Community Arena
