OTC wrestlers claim second at Minnewaska

MINNEWASKA — The Otter Tail Central Bulldog wrestlers were able to capture a second place finish and see several top three individual finishes at the Minnewaska Area Invite Saturday.satisfied

The Bulldogs 190 score took second the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa’s 227.50 for first place.

OTC’s Coy Thorson won the 132-pound division recording four pins in his five matches, while teammate Dylan Schleske (145 pounds) also claimed top honors. Noah Minten took second in 145-pound, wrestling unattached.

Sam Naddy (113), Dylan Schwartz (126), Aaron Kugler (138 pounds), Darius Erlandson (160) and Daniel Ukkelberg (182) all claimed third place finishes for the Bulldogs at the event.

James Holen (106) and Toby Simonsen (120) came in fourth, while Aaron Bengston (195), Shane Woody (220) and Ben Cole (285) finished in fifth.

The Bulldogs will now prepare for the Section 6A tournament.
