Perham cabin burglary reported

A cabin and storage building near Perham were reported burglarized Saturday afternoon.

According to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s office, it is too soon to determine the total value of items taken, but game cameras, a crossbow, binoculars, game calls, clothing, boots and liquor were among the items reported missing from the property at 52702 460th St., 10 miles east of Perham.

There was no evidence of forced entry, and the owner of the property claimed the burglary must have occurred sometime in the past week. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s office has no suspects at this time, and the case is under investigation.

 

Pickup stolen

A pickup was reported stolen from a residence near Wadena Saturday morning.

The 2004 four-door maroon Ford F-350 Super Duty was allegedly taken from a residence at 63499 County Hwy. 68 between 10 and 11 a.m. The estimated value of the vehicle is more than $10,000.

The pickup has a bent front bumper and missing front license plate. At the time of the theft, it had a window sticker that said, “Yes it’s fast, no you can’t drive it.”

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office has no suspects at this time, and the case is under investigation.
