Spartan women record 10th win

The M State women were able to hold off a late charge by the visiting Western Wisconsin Tech Cavaliers Saturday as they picked up their 10th win over the year 69-61.

Rhoda Christenson led the Spartans with 19 points, while teammate Maria Johnson chipped in 15 tallies.

M State shot 43 percent from the field and was able to win the rebounding battle 48-45 over the Cavaliers.

The Spartans will take in MCAC Southern Division rival Rochester at home Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
