CLARISSA — The West Central Area boys were able to put four players in double figures as they cruised to a 78-49 win over Eagle Valley.

“We had a really nice run to start the second half to build a nice 20-point lead and we had balanced scoring,” Knight coach Kraig Hunter said. “We also had a lot of good contributions from Andrew Lindor, Jared Oachs, and Austin Hennen.”

Jay Zimmerman led the way for the Knights with 16 points, while teammates Drew Peterson (15), Dakotah Kashmark (14) and Brady Combs (12) were also in double digits. Kashmark finished the evening with a double-double as he grabbed 11 rebounds.

The Knights will be back at home Thursday as they host Long Prairie-Grey Eagle in a 6 p.m. game.
