School Board OKs snow make-up day

While Fergus Falls students may be enjoying the recent string of snow days, they will feel the pinch when summer calls.

On Monday, the Fergus Falls School Board approved, in essence, an additional day of school at the end of the year. Students will have a full day of school on May 30 rather than a half day as scheduled, and an additional half day on May 31, with a three-hour early out. June 3 will be a staff development day.

The school board is also considering adding Thursday of Easter week to the school calendar if there is another snow day. The school board will vote on adding the Easter week day at their Feb. 25 meeting.
