OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

January 29, 2013

The Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners:

1. Called to order the Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners meeting at 9:33 AM.

2. Approved payment of the County Board bills as follows.

3. Approved Otter Tail County Resolution No. 2013-14. (MN Detour Agreement TH 78)

4. Authorized hiring three seasonal Engineering Aide or Technicians and two seasonal Sign Workers for the CY2013-2014 highway construction season as recommended by the Public Works Director.

5. Approved  to fund the LEAN training.

6. Regretfully denied the request for forgiveness of tax and penalty for property at 38433 Eagle Lake Road S, Battle Lake, MN (parcel no. 18000990422000).

7. Approved 2 Tobacco Licenses.

8. Authorized the Risk Management Coordinator to sign the CY2012 OSHA 300A Form which is a required summary of work related injuries and illnesses.  The motion authorizes the signature of the Risk Management Coordinator in subsequent years.

9. Approved continued engineering consulting work by Mcfarlane Consulting, LLC to assist the County through the 60-Bed CD Facility litigation.  The original agreement of work not to exceed $5,000.00 has been completed.
10. Authorized the appropriate County Officials’ signatures to execute the following Labor Agreements between the County of Otter Tail and the Teamsters Local 320:

Public Health Staff
January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2015

Human Services Professional Unit (Social Workers)
January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2015

Public Health Professional Unit of Nurses
January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2015

Facilities Maintenance Employees
January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2015

11. Reappointed Marion Gill of Perham, MN to the Otter Tail County Planning Commission effective January 1, 2013 for a three year term.
