‘A Circus of Color’ exhibit on display at RCC

Published 11:23am Thursday, February 14, 2013

A Circus of Color, by Fargo artist Emily Williams-Wheeler, is on display at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center through March 16.

Signature elements of word-play and clever titles complete the body of work. Williams-Wheeler works in oil, acrylic or mixed-media.

Everyone is invited to a reception in Ms.Williams-Wheeler honor from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17.

Please join us to meet the artist.

It is rare to find a painting by Emily Williams-Wheeler which doesn’t feature a creature from the animal kingdom or the lure of a circus.

Bright colors, strange shapes, devilish grins are components of Williams-Wheeler’s, “A Circus of Color.”

There is no admission charge to this exhibit.

Gallery hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
