Nothing normal is ever amazing [UPDATED]

A Center for the Arts is preparing to announce our 2013/14 Center Series for the first time this Friday, Feb. 15. From 6 to 6:30 p.m. will be a social time with light refreshments and drink. From 6:30 to about 7 p.m., we will present the world class acts we are bringing to Fergus Falls from September of 2013 through May of 2014.

Patrons who have current season tickets will have until March 15 to sign up for their reserved seats. They will be receiving information in the mail regarding the performances and costs after Friday night’s announcement.

We will then open it up to the general public who would like a great deal and seats.

If you are not currently a series patron you can sign up that evening, no payment is necessary that evening, just tell us you want to be a part of something wonderful happening in our community and we will put a number on your sheet.

We will fill orders in numerical order as they come in, so it is important to sign up early. We have already had several of last year’s Series patrons sign up on faith and new patrons as well.

Last year was the first we tried this approach and were overwhelmed at the response with over 300 patrons signing up for the series. Let us reiterate you do not need to pay for the series that evening.

If you are interested we have you fill out information, give you a number and it’s that simple. We will bill you later. We also have a payment program, tell us you would like to take advantage of this and we will bill you monthly through December of 2013.

For a couple that could be eight great shows from September 2013 — May 2014 for only $26.66 per month for the pair of seats, or a single for $13.33.

Remember youth never pay more than $5.00 to see performances at AC4TA. Which means bring the kids; their entire season is only $40, including college students.

The seats are yours, if for some reason you can’t make a performance we prefer you give them to family or friends, if you sign up the kids and they can’t make it bring adult friends we would rather have the seats filled.

We want to make this as easy and enjoyable for everyone as possible.

As part of our commitment to our patrons we will always hold at least 80 single night tickets for those who don’t purchase the season.

Will we be doing other shows? The answer is yes. We are putting together three to four concerts on the stage, Summer Children’s musical, Summer musical, community theatre, youth choir concerts, organ concerts, Concerts in the Park, rentals and so much more. We are always busy.
