The Otter Tail County Historical Society’s State Hospital Coffee Klatch series will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, at the Museum.

The State Hospital complex once contained nearly 50 buildings. Neil Herman and Ginny Paulson will moderate a panel of retired hospital employees who will talk about what the buildings were originally used for and how they evolved over the years. Featuring Frank Dowzak, Vern Vallavand, Jerry Kragness, Don Stoa, Jerry Toso, Karen Toso, Ardis Erickson, and Ken Toso, the panel has decades of experience working at the hospital in a variety of positions.

The Coffee Klatches are free and open to the public. For more information contact the historical society at 736-6038 or visit www.otchs.org.
