A son, Maddix Timothy, was born Jan. 31, 2013, to Mike and Missy Butler of Elbow Lake. He weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. Grandparents are Jeff and Jeanne Soyring of Detroit Lakes, Dave and Angie Ewanika of Frazee, Mitch and Ruth Butler of Cody, Wyo., and Tim and Brenda Svare of Iron.democracy
