Woman injured in snowmobile accident [UPDATED]

The operator of a snowmobile, 47-year-old Kelly Irish, was injured while driving her snowmobile Saturday, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s office. She slid off her snowmobile as she was passing though an open gated area. As Irish slid off the sled she struck the open gate causing internal injuries. Irish was transported to the Douglas County hospital and later flown out to HCMC.
