LRH joint care center ushers in new era of service [UPDATED]

A ribbon cutting ceremony for Lake Region Healthcare’s new Orthopedic Joint Care Center was held Monday, Feb. 18.

The center is a newly remodeled 2,200-square-foot space on the hospital’s second floor.

It features four joint care rooms and a group rehabilitation space designed with a lake theme and adorned with local photography by Chris Welle.

The new, comprehensive joint replacement service features extensive pre-operative education, the use of patient “coaches, and both individual and group rehabilitation to facilitate the speediest recovery and best outcomes possible to get people back out living the active life they desire.
