Eileen Peasley, died peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Broen Home in Fergus Falls.???????????????????????????????Presently

She was born April 11, 1930, in Great Bend, N.D., the daughter of Henry and Ada (Hoefs) Gast. She was baptized at St. John Lutheran Church in Tyler, N.D., and confirmed at the Lutheran church in Fairmont.

She grew up in North Dakota, attending grade school in Fairmont, and later high school in Breckenridge.

The family moved to the Edwards/Erhard area of Minnesota. It was there she met her husband, Charles, and they were married on March 16, 1947.

They lived in Rothsay and Maplewood before purchasing the farm in 1957 where they dairy farmed and raised their family.

She was a member of Tonseth Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid, MN TOPS 400, and served as treasurer for School District 1486.

Eileen enjoyed playing cards, belonging to the area card club, and also snowmobiling and reading. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her grandson, Justin Peasley; brothers, Ronnie Gast, Alvin “Sonny” Gast and Freddie Gast; and a sister-in-law, Romaine Gast.

Survivors include her husband, Charles of Erhard; children, Charlene (Lyle) Peasley-Wilmes, Bruce (Carol) Bentley Peasley, Marilyn Peasley-Robinson, Craig (Mona) Peasley, and Curtis (Christy) Peasley; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Karen (Derald) Connell and Patsy (Lenny) Ferguson; two brothers, Gerry (Shirley) Gast and Ralph Gast; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Gast; numerous nieces and nephews; and other relatives.

Visitation: Wednesday from 4:30 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, at Tonseth Lutheran Church, Erhard
