He worked for Otter Tail Power for 43 years, serving in Langdon, St. Thomas, Keckhoven and Fergus Falls.0221.obit.Miller

After his retirement, the couple moved to Brookings, Ore., and later to Glendale, Ariz.

Dick was very active in the communities where he worked.

He is survived by his wife, Janet (Wilson) Miller; sons, Richard of Underwood, Jeffrey of Glendale, Ariz., Mark (Laura) of Rockford, Wash., and Donald of Glendale, Ariz.; daughters, Melanie of Las Vegas, Nev., and Deanna (Paul) Larson of St. Thomas, N.D.; sisters, Luella Cassel of Fergus Falls and Margaret Flatin of Pelican Rapids; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 27 nieces and nephews and many friends who were like family.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Rosie Wilschewski, Gertrude Formo, Loretta Jorgenson and Bonnie Parker; a sister-in-law, Nila Kjer; and a grandson, Kristopher.

Funeral services are planned at 11 a.m. today, in Peoria, Ariz.
