Conservatives, NRA not the dangerous ones [UPDATED]

Ft. Hoodshooter, registered Democrat, self acknowledged jihadist.
Columbine shooters — Too young to vote, but both families registered Democrats and “progreesive” liberals.
Virginia Tech shooter — A registered Democrat who wrote hate mail to President Bush and his staff.
Colorado Theater shooter was a registered Democrat; staff worker for the Obama campaign; Occupy Wall Street activist; “progressive” liberal.
Shooter of Cogresswoman Gabby Giffords — A radical leftist and registered Democrat.
The common bond among these people is that all the shooters were “progressive” liberal people.
So tell me why is it that the media always tells us that conservatives and NRA gun owners are the real danger, and can only get their noses out of joint when Barack Obama won’t let them hang out with himself and Tiger Woods on the golf course?

Well another comment caught and stuck forever apparently in the netherworld of the journals filter. I then provided a link for easy access by journal readers. Apparently way too easy, so let’s do it the hard way.
Type “were mass shooters democrats?” in your browser. The first citation is (on my browser) an article by “The Examiner” which disproves the assertion by Mandy Peterson.
Mandy Peterson’s letter is not just an example of lazy research but research for the purpose of spreading hatred.
It might be useless for the letter writer to apply for a gun permit; at least we can hope.
Mandy, great letter! Look out for the Libby’s they will come out of the wood work to lambast you. There’s nothing like a presentation of truth to stir up a hornets nest.
Larry, your comments are always so insightful. I just wish that I could have had the privilege of being one of the students in your classroom. To glean from you all that you’ve learned over the years, that I myself could be an intellectual like yourself.
Larry, you may not know this, but the Apostle Paul wrote of you in his letter to the Corinthians. In it he explains why someone like you has such a difficult time understanding the scriptures.

Hey Merle, why would you cheer a provably false letter? Do you have some documentation that disproves the citation I provided?
Christian evangelical pastor Scott Lively announces he has proof President Obama is gay and involved in a gay relationship with his former personal assistant, Reggie Love. When someone who claims the name of Christ says outlandish things it seems to raise 2 questions–are the comments true and is Christianity valid?
Maybe more appropriately for this audience is the question, “Is the Fergus Falls Journal a mainstream daily newspaper or one of those relegated to the inquiring minds standing in the grocery store checkout line?”
So, the Journal should not concentrate on writing for lowly working people who have to line up in stores to buy what they can afford after your rich elitist Marxists have extorted huge percentages of their pay to provide a life of leisure for the non working loafers who constitute
the base of your Socialist Democrat party? And, I suppose the Journal, under the guidance of your fellow elitists, would be permitted only to print paeans of praise for Marx and Obama? Is that your message, Larry?
Would it not necessarily follow then, that following your line of reasoning, any who expose the Supreme Ruler for Life would be imprisoned, perhaps even executed as enemies of The State, counter-revolutionaries against the inevitable ascendancy of Marxist ideology? It happened in your other utopian paradises on earth in Nazi Socialist Germany, Socialist Communist Soviet Union and China, and Cuba.
It occurs to me Jerome, that even you do not believe the histrionics you type. Guess how I know? Because you’re still here, you haven’t been executed or even imprisoned as enemies of the state. And as we all know, no one has done more to “expose the Supreme Ruler for Life”, than you. (anyway thanks for another example for my file that Obama asked me to keep about you)
We have something we know as The Ten Commandments. It doesn’t matter if you are Jewish, Christian or just believe in a civil society you are likely to put some value on them. Mandy, whether innocently deceived or purposefully directed broke one of those commandments; the commandment guiding us not to bear false witness against our neighbor. These letters of opinion written to the Journal are not statements of facts just because the Journal sees fit to print them. I doubt it is their intent to become yet another paper for “inquiring minds” of the fanciful nature.
Rather, when a person who claims the name of Jesus sees a letter of false witness such as Mandy has written, I would think it is his Christian duty to offer correction, not praise her sin.
Hey Merle, what makes Mandy Peterson’s letter so great? The fact that it’s easily proved wrong ,or that you don’t care about the truth?
