Ottertail’s Adam Menze pilot in crash [UPDATED]

As reported Thursday in the Daily Journal, a single-engine propeller plane crashed near County Highway 40, north of Parkers Prairie.

The pilot of the plane, Adam R. Menze, 41, of Ottertail, was killed after sustaining extensive trauma. Menze was flying alone in a Maule MXT-7 Starcraft aircraft. There were no other casualties.

The cause of the crash is still unknown and remains under investigation by the NTSB and FAA.
