Alvin Amberg, died peacefully, Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at his home, surrounded by his family and under the care of Lakeland Hospice.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Apostolic Lutheran Church in New York Mills

Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Karvonen and Son Funeral Home in New York Mills and one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial are preferred to Lakeland Hospice Foundation.
