Rockets fall in season finale 60-46

UNDERWOOD – In a late regular season finale, the Barnesville Trojans handed the Underwood girls third straight loss 60-46 Monday evening.

The Trojans came out on fire as they hit most of the shots and took a 37-25 lead into the break.

The Rockets were unable to recover in the second half as they were outscored 23-21 in the half on the way to a loss.

Greta Thormodson led Underwood with a 18 point, 10 rebound night.

The Rockets will now gear up for the Section 6A playoffs as they host Little Eight Conference foe Battle Lake Thursday at 7 p.m. In their two meetings during the regular season, Underwood has had the Battlers number, winning games by 33 and 9 points.
