Minnesota State Community and Technical College math instructor Sharon Hintgen recently completed a Quality Matters training course designed to improve the quality of online education.

Hintgen enrolled in the Applying the Quality Matters Rubric online workshop through Quality Matters, a nationally recognized organization that promotes quality and continuous improvement strategies for institutions that deliver courses and programs online.

The workshop provides faculty members with tools designed to improve the quality of online courses and encourages the sharing of innovative practices in online learning.

Hintgen teaches on M State’s Fergus Falls campus and through the college’s online eCampus, which offers more than 300 courses and 25 degree programs online.
