You’ll be dazzled by Razzle Dazzle Revue 2013: “Random Acts of Music!” Many “random” surprises await you in this year’s show, which will be performed by a huge cast of local talent at A Center for the Arts, 124 W. Lincoln Ave., downtown Fergus Falls in the Fergus Theatre at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, March 8 and 9; and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 10.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students/children. For more information, call AC4TA at 218-998-ARTS (2787) or visit www.FergusArts.org.

Razzle Dazzle Revue is AC4TA’s annual spring fundraiser and helps offset the cost of theater productions throughout the year. You can support A Center for the Arts by coming to see the show. This show is also a wonderful way to build community around the arts.

The theme of this year’s show is “Random Acts of Music.” It’s not possible to say just what you will hear when you come to the show, but rest assured, you will be thoroughly entertained by a highly talented cast.

Created and directed by Jennifer Johnson and Rebecca Sonmor, along with emcees Kathy and Scott Wagnild, there are more than 60 energetic and talented adults, teens and children singing and performing in this year’s show. Cast members come not only from Fergus Falls, but also from Ashby, Battle Lake, Brandon, Dalton, Elbow Lake, Norcross, Underwood and Wahpeton. This is a community production at its best.

Razzle Dazzle Revue first started in the late 70s and early 80s when a group of people got together to raise money.

A “Revue” is a theatrical production typically consisting of brief, loosely connected, (sometimes satirical) skits, songs and dances. AC4TA revived the tradition a few years ago when a group of people started talking about how much fun community productions can be — with all their chorus numbers, chorus lines, costumes, glitz and glamour.
