Seminar helps couples see marital humor [UPDATED]
Published 9:21am Thursday, February 28, 2013 Updated 11:26am Thursday, February 28, 2013Laughter isn’t only the best medicine, it can also be the best marriage counselor.
We know of its power to reduce stress in everyday life, but many couples have overlooked its usefulness in their most important relationship.
On March 8 and 9 at Zion-Sarpsborg Lutheran Church in Dalton, couples will get a chance to laugh about — and make vital changes to — their relationships through Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage.
Most marriage seminars tend to be serious, technical and emotionally taxing. Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage, by contrast, helps couples deal with tough issues in a way that’s fun and non-threatening. There are no workbooks to fill out, no emotional “break-out” sessions, and no one is ever forced to speak in front of the group.
This 2-day video presentation features Mark Gungor, one of the most sought-after speakers on marriage and family in the country.
Mark has been featured on national broadcasts such as Focus on the Family and ABC News.
He also has a daily internet radio show that is heard on over 250 radio stations. You can learn more about Mark Gungor at www.laughyourway.com
You are cordially invited to attend this seminar on Friday, March 8 from 7 to 10 p.m. and Saturday, March 9 from 8:30 a.m. to12:30 p.m.
Refreshments will be provided. The cost of the seminar is $18 per person.
