Rare bank notes sold at auction

A rare Wahpeton bank note sold for $20,000 at the Red River Valley Coin Club’s 53rd annual show in Fargo.

Several of the bills in the 400-note collection sold for more than $10,000. A $10 Grand Forks, N.D., note sold for $24,000, and a $10 note from Rugby, was auctioned off at $33,000.
