Delores Johansen, a resident at Trinity Terrace in Farmington, formerly of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville.0301.obit.Johansenwoods

She was born Jan. 1, 1928, on the family farm near Underwood, the daughter of Olvin and Hannah (Halverson) Krog.

On February 18, 1945, she married Mervin Johansen in Fergus Falls and they lived most of their 66 years of marriage in Fergus Falls where they raised their family. She babysat for several families in Fergus Falls, and worked at Broen Home until her retirement.

Delores enjoyed homemaking, sewing, gardening, camping, and all things of nature. The most important thing in Delores’s life was love for her family and her faith in God.

She was a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. As a child she went to Tingvold Lutheran Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; siblings; and her husband, Mervin, who passed away on May 10, 2011.

Survivors include her daughter, Judy (Jim) Ahlbrecht of Rosemount; a son, Donald (Josie) Johansen of Fargo; three grandchildren, Jonathan (Tina) Ahlbrecht, Julie (Brian) Boche and Joel Johansen; one great-grandson, Ethan Ahlbrecht; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was the last surviving member of her family. Uffda!
