Lucille Delores Pederson was born on Sept. 9, 1928, in Cormorant Village, the daughter of Wallace and Louise (Oberdick) Bullene.

She was baptized in the Lutheran faith and attended the Battle Lake Public School, graduating from Battle Lake High School in 1946.

Lucille and Clayton Pederson were married on May 2, 1947, in her parents home in Battle Lake. After their marriage they lived in Battle Lake.

Lucy worked for a resort on Battle Lake, for Dick Hanson at the Twins Grocery, then for Dr. Boline, Dr. Hom and Dr. Bhatacharia at the Battle Lake Medical Clinic.

She then started with Otter Tail Power Co. as a power dispatcher, where she was employed until her retirement.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, all sports and was a Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Timberwolves fan.

She was an active member of the First Lutheran Church, Ladies Circle and Quilting Group and was very community orientated.

Lucy liked going for breakfast with her friends and she was especially proud of her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Dennis (Barb) Pederson; two grandchildren and their families, Eric (Janell) Pederson, Ty, Nick and Jace and Kelly (Matt) Boyd, Macy, Zack and Riley; and by numerous relatives and friends. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Louise Bullene; her husband, Clayton Pederson; and two sisters and two brothers.

Visitation: Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m., with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service at church

Service: 2 p.m. Monday, at the First Lutheran Church, Battle Lake
