REQUEST FOR QUOTES
TREE REMOVAL/ TREE TRIMMING

Proposals are currently being accepted for the removal of trees, stumps, and miscellaneous tree trimming within the City of Fergus Falls for the 2013 season.  Proposals will be received at the Office of the Public Works Department at 112 West Washington Ave., Fergus Falls, Minnesota until 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 20, 2013.

Each quote shall be in accordance with the specifications prepared therefore and the pertinent contract documents now on file in the Office of the Public Works Department. Specifications can also be obtained electronically through the City of Fergus Falls website: www.fergus-falls.mn.us (bids and proposals tab), or by calling 218-332-5435 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Each quote shall be submitted on forms furnished by the City of Fergus Falls and shall be filed with the Public Works Department of the City of Fergus Falls on or before the hour and date designated above.

Each quote must be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of base bid, made payable to the City of Fergus Falls. The above mentioned check or bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the purchase, will enter into contract for furnishing the equipment, materials, and labor specified when requested to do so by the City of Fergus Falls. All bid guarantees will be retained until the contract has been executed. Quotes shall be in separate sealed envelopes plainly marked “Quote on Tree
Removal and Tree trimming”

The City of Fergus Falls reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
