Man arrested on Washington state warrant [UPDATED]

A 41-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night for escape on a warrant out of Washington state.

A call came to Fergus Falls police at 9:10 p.m. from a woman who said a man who was a guest in her house threatened to burn it down, according to the police report.

Police explained the civil eviction process to the tenants, and the reportee went to a motel for the night.

Police learned of the warrant on the man and arrested him, according to the report.

The report was sent to Washington for a review of charges.
