Long-time FF c-store BJ’s East closes [UPDATED]
Published 10:32am Friday, March 8, 2013 Updated 10:32am Friday, March 8, 2013BJ’s East, a Fergus Falls fixture for many years has closed its doors and is for sale. The convenience grocery store and gas station business has been at 1040 E. Fir Avenue, next to the YMCA since 1976.
Owner Bob Johnson could not be reached for comment. But customers have confirmed that the doors are locked and a “For Sale” sign is on the property.
The building is currently listed for sale with Lakes Family Real Estate for $295,000, without the fixtures.

So sorry to see that BJ’s has closed. I always felt like a “neighbor” when I went in and was always greeted by name. We’ll miss you all! Todd and Barbara Kilde
It’s sad but I knew. That was coming… North woods and take 5 r the next two I expect to close this year…

If you keep building new and taxing more, then more businesses and people will leave.
F.F. needs to expand,we need new and more.The businesses that leave will only be the ones that can’t compete A.K.A….the weak that need to be weeded out..
B.J.’s might have once been something,but all it became was a dump.
It was its time,it is what it is.
As a long time customer/friend I’m sad to see this.
