Viking Library System cardholders, including Fergus Falls Public Library patrons, now have access to over 100 popular magazine titles in digital format.
To take advantage of this brand new service, sign up online with a valid Viking Library System library card to create an account.
Visit the homepage on the Fergus Falls Public Library website, www.fergusfalls.lib.mn.us, for instructions on how to set-up a free account.
Once you have an account, you are able to immediately begin downloading your favorite magazines to read on your computer, iPad, iPhone, Kindle Fire, or Android device.
All magazines are in full color with all stories, pictures, charts and advertising included. Magazine titles include: Consumer Reports, Martha Stewart Living, Motor Trend, National Geographic, Newsweek, Outdoor Life and many, many more.
This new service includes simultaneous use, allowing an unlimited number of users to view the magazines at the same time.
Every title can be kept as long as the user chooses; there are no due dates or fines.
Fergus Falls Public Library patrons will also be able to access digital magazines on the library’s iPads.
Some of the magazines, like National Geographic, include interactive features like videos that can be accessed on iPads.
iPads can be checked out for in-library use for an hour at a time using a valid library card and include a variety of applications for all ages.
