FF, Pelican Rapids girls state ticket on sale Monday [UPDATED]

After exciting section final games, the Fergus Falls Otter girls and the Pelican Rapids Viking girls will represent their respected sections in the Minnesota State Girls’ Basketball Tournament beginning Wednesday.

The Fergus Falls Otter girls defeated the Alexandria Cardinals 55-54 in the Section 8AAA final at St. John’s University and the Pelican Rapids Viking girls topped the Crookston Pirates in overtime 61-56 in the Section 8AA final.

Tickets for the Vikings game versus New Richland/Heartland-Ellendale-Geneva at Williams Arena at 8 p.m. on Wednesday night can be purchased Monday from 9:00am to 12:00pm and Tuesday from 8:00am to 4:00pm at the high school office. Tickets are $14 for adults and $9 for students and fans can sign up for the fan bus leaving at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the same time.

The Otters received the third seed in the Class AAA tournament and will host Monticello at 4 p.m. at Williams Arena Wednesday. Tickets go on sale Monday and Tuesday from 8:00am to 3:30pm at the Kennedy Secondary School Activities Office. Tickets are $14 for adults and $9 for students. Fans can signup for the fan bus, which will be loading at 12 p.m. Wednesday, at this time.

There will also be a state send off for the team at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Kennedy School Parking lot #2.
