District personnel negotiations ongoing [UPDATED]

The Fergus Falls School District has not come to a contract agreement with the Custodian and Secretaries Union, though Melanie Cole reported at Monday’s School Board meeting that the talks are on-going. The last meeting of the Custodian and Secretaries Union was snowed out and is being rescheduled.

The district hasn’t started negotiations with certified staff, though collaborative meetings are taking place regarding how to incorporate federal health care legislation that President Barack Obama signed into law in 2010 into contracts.

The School Board met in closed session after its regular meeting Monday night to further discuss personnel contract negotiations.
