FF girls volleyball moving to Class AA

Published 12:11pm Tuesday, March 12, 2013

The Minnesota State High School League made a re-alignment on March 8, moving Fergus Falls girls volleyball down from Class AAA to Class AA. Section assignments are determined by school enrollments and activity classifications.

Fergus Falls High School does not currently meet the enrollment level to sustain Class AAA requirements for girls volleyball. Enrollment in the district has declined 26 percent over the past 10 years.

The change was reported by school board member Matt Lemke on Monday.

Other section changes include East Grand Forks leaving the conference for football and basketball, and Albany is coming in.
