Healthy initiatives abound throughout the Fergus Falls School District, according to school board member Angela Fiedler.

Several members of the district will be attending a Health Summit coming up April 10. Zoomba for students has started at Kennedy Secondary, and healthy Grab and Go breakfasts are up to about 90 a day, Fiedler reported to the School Board Monday night.

In addition, ideas are being reviewed regarding how $2,900 in remaining Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP) funds could be spent, including purchasing more skates as well as general equipment for physical education programs.
