A woman reported a scam call she received Thursday in which she was allegedly threatened that she would be arrested.

According to the police report, a man called her at work at the Shopko pharmacy and told her she was part of a lawsuit and needed to provide money within the next half hour.

While police were talking with the woman, the man called back and spoke with an officer.

He reportedly said he was from the Jennifer Young Law offices in Los Angeles.

He said the woman had taken a loan out at cashadvance.com and it hadn’t been paid.

The man demanded the money be paid and that she was going to lose her job.

He reportedly hung up after saying the police officer wasn’t an officer. The woman had not taken a loan out with that company before, according to police.
