Fergus Falls School District students will not have to make up any time due to Monday’s snow day or Tuesday’s late start due to weather, school officials said.

According to Fergus Falls School District administrative assistant Elaine Jahnke, students will have acheived more than enough instructional hours by the end of the year, even if there is another closure due to snow.

Teachers, however, will need to make up hours before June 4. Teachers that have not logged and made up hours will work June 3 and 4 to make up for days school was closed due to weather.

Kids are done at the end of May, and will not attend school on June 3 or 4.

In Underwood and Ashby, students may have an extra day of instruction tacked on to the end of the year, but the decision hasn’t been finalized.

Battle Lake students can also expect to be in school in June, with the last day now Tuesday, June 4.
