Sebastian Salas, 20, of Pelican Rapids, was charged Monday, March 18 in Otter Tail County District Court with fifth-degree drug sales, a felony.
According to the criminal complaint, a confidential informant contacted a special agent of the West Central Minnesota Drug Task Force Nov. 28, 2012 regarding arrangments for a controlled buy of marijuana from Salas. The informant arrived at Salas’ residence in Pelican Rapids at 1:15 p.m. that day where an exchange reportedly took place. Salas gave the informant a baggie which later tested positive for marijuana (eight grams) and the informant paid Salas $120, the report says.
Salas’ next court appearance is scheduled for April 1.
