A Chevy Impala and a Parkers Prairie police car collided in a minor accident Wednesday due to icy conditions, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office. No one was injured.

Brittany Marie Bjerketvedt, 24, of Parkers Prairie, exited the parking lot of the Crossing Hotel, just two blocks west of Otter Avenue on Lake Street just after 3 p.m.

A Parkers Prairie police officer was headed westbound on Lake Street and both drivers were unable to stop their vehicles due to the extremely icy road conditions, according to a news release.

There was moderate front end damage to Bjerketvedt’s car and minor front end damage to the police car.
