Train derails near Parkers [UPDATED]

Fourteen cars of a Canadian Pacific Railroad 94-car train derailed at 6:10 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.
Several cars ruptured and spilled crude oil, which was contained to a small area. No injuries were reported. The train traveled southeast past 150th Street and 555th Avenue near Parkers Prairie when it lost air and went into emergency mode, according to a news release.
The train came to a stop and some cars went off the tracks. Parkers Prairie Fire, Minnesota Pollution Control and Canadian Pacific personnel responded.
