Stephen Ministry Commissioning Service scheduled

A Stephen Ministry Commissioning Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, at the Federated Church in Fergus Falls.

Sixteen individuals have completed 50 hours of training to serve as Stephen Ministers in their congregations and will be commissioned for service on March 24: Brad Russell, Bethlehem Lutheran; Cathy Auseth, Jude Bjerkaas, Steve Platta, John Zwiers, Bethel Lutheran; Mary Christenson, Sylvia Christenson, Calvary Lutheran; Judy Armstrong, Janet Freeman, Gail Johnson, Hope Lutheran; Peggy Rezac, Our Lady of Victory; Steve Seggermann, Stavanger; Mike Hussey, Caleb Larson, Joshua Larson, Jeremy Wilson, Lutheran Brethren Seminary. Stephen Ministers are trained to provide confidential care to people who are experiencing a crisis, facing a challenge, or going through a tough time in life.
